The attoCMC800xs is the next evolution in cryogenic systems: It combines the compact attoDRY800xs closed-cycle cryostat with the innovative, rack mountable IGLU compressor making the system autonomous from lab infrastructure and setting a new standard in efficiency, space requirements, and experimental flexibility. The system operates at cryogenic temperatures down to 3.8K with just 1.4 kW of input power, making it run off a simple wall plug without the need for cooling water.
The attoCMC800xs addresses the space constraints faced by many researchers and is targeting to support the advent of quantum technologies into real world application. Due to its vibration damping, it offers a compact solution for free beam quantum optics or probing experiments at cryogenic temperatures without the need for additional optical tables or large cryostats.
It includes a customizable cryogenic shroud, which is integrated into an optical breadboard allowing you to tailor the optical setup to your specific needs, and providing an obstruction-free workspace with a perfectly embedded cold sample space.
All these features are packed into a unit measuring less than 17" x 28", maintaining the low vibration performance, versatility, and automated controls of the original attoDRY800xs combined with the rack-mountable IGLU compressor. The attoCMC800xs can be used as a self-contained experiment platform or placed adjacent to larger optical tables with fiber coupling between optical elements.

Vacuum Shrouds
Anticipating typical configurations, we have designed several standard vacuum shrouds and cold shields for the attoDRY800/800xs optical cryostat, that are intended for certain types of positioners, sample holders, working distances and objectives. These options constitute an economic pre-configured set of components that give the user a head start for his research with optics at low and variable temperatures.
The vacuum shroud can have an almost arbitrary shape depending on the experimental needs of each user. We distinguish between standard configurations, which cover the most typical applications, and fully customized configurations.
